Michelle Mudge-Riley DO, MHA is a physician and entrepreneur. She is the Founder of Physicians Helping Physicians. She works in pharma, runs multiple businesses and has spent over 13 years assisting physicians with career strategy. Dr. Mudge-Riley was called the “Doctor’s Doctor” in a 2010 book she co-authored because of her success in working with other doctors. The book is titled Physicians in Transition.
Dr. Mudge-Riley received her medical degree from Des Moines University Osteopathic Medical School and her Masters Degree in Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University.
Sara Nace, MD is a neuroradiologist currently performing utilization management as a medical director for UnitedHealth Group in the commercial line of business.
After thousands of recommendations for clinical correlation, Sara made the exhilarating and challenging transition from private practice to the non-clinical world in 2018/2019.
In her spare time, Sara works on concealing her Midwest accent with non-regional diction and serves on a clinical events committee for a large medical device company as an independent contractor. She can often be found in the wilds of the Twin Cities suburbs in the beautiful fly-over state of Minnesota, doing manual labor on her acreage or otherwise enjoying the beauty of this green earth and its four seasons with her family.
Darin Davidson, MD is an orthopedic surgeon and coach. Morgan Kearney, MD is a Maryland native who followed in his father’s footsteps to become an Ob/Gyn. He attended University College Dublin in Ireland and completed his training at the Rotunda Hospital. He returned to the US and found that he needed a change in career and began working in the CRO industry as a Medical Monitor. Morgan has been with Syneos Health for five years and currently works from home in Virginia.
Laura McKain, MD is an obstetrician/gynecologist who transitioned from clinical practice to the pharmaceutical industry 12 years ago. She is currently a senior director in clinical development at Myovant Sciences where she has led the pivotal clinical trials culminating in new drug applications to the FDA and EMA. Previously, she worked across multiple therapeutic areas at a large contract research organization and led a global team of safety physicians. Sarah Yonder, MD is an Assistant Professor at Central Michigan University’s College of Medicine and is board certified in family medicine. She directs and teaches the clinical skills course and is in clinical practice. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, her medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Christopher Loo, MD, PhD is a surgeon, serial entrepreneur, investor, author, consultant, executive coach, and keynote speaker. He received his MD-PhD from the medical scientist training program offered jointly through the Baylor College of Medicine and Department of Bioengineering at Rice University. A member of the Valhalla AI Healthcare startup advisory board, where he directs digital strategy, Dr. Loo achieved financial freedom by the age of 29, and F.I.R.E. in 2016 through his multiple passive investment income strategies. Sana Syed, MD is a Neurologist working as a Senior Medical Director, Clinical Lead at Sanofi US and a neurohospitalist at Baystate Medical Center. Sana graduated from King Edward Medical College and has a Masters in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health. She completed her Neurology training in Boston, including sub-specialty training in Demyelinating Disorders and Cognitive Neurology from Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, HMS. She went on to take a faculty appointment at Tufts Medical Center as Assistant Professor of Neurology while at the same time working at Pfizer, Inc as a Clinical Translational Research Fellow. Her Pfizer experience allowed her to transition to EMD Serono as a Medical Director where she worked on the approval of Cladribine for MS and now she is leading the development of another novel agent for MS at Sanofi.
Candice Williams, MD is a Pain Management Anesthesiologist turned Music Producer and Health Coach. She has successfully navigated the journey past her fear of change and uncertainty to pursue her life-long passion for music. Her album Serenity Sounds debuted in January with her healing/relaxation single Tranquility, currently available on all music outlets. Her music with group J.N.C., Black Beauty and Future seek to empower her community and uplift children. Maria Simbra, M.D., MPH is the Emmy and multi award-winning medical reporter at KDKA-TV/CBS News in Pittsburgh. She is a retired neurologist with experience in private practice and academia. In addition, she has formal training as a journalist with a master’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication. Jonathan Vitale, MD is a board certified Family Physician, Board Certified Counselor, and Physician Career Coach. Trina Wiggins, MD is a board-certified pediatrician who resides in Las Vegas, Nevada. She attended Stanford University, where she received a BA degree in human biology and was a varsity member of the women’s gymnastics team. After graduating from Stanford University, she attended medical school at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri, and completed her internship and residency at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital. She has worked in both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she has volunteered with Volunteers in Medicine for over ten years. In addition to being a pediatrician, she competes in fitness and dance competitions. She has competed in over 50 shows over the past 17 years with many top place finishes. In 2011, she placed first in Fitness America Classic. In 2018, she competed in the Nevada State Senior Olympics and received a gold medal. She was named the AAU North American Bodybuilding and Fitness 2019 Athlete of the Year. She is currently the president of the Stanford Club of Southern Nevada, and from 2015-2016 she served as the president of the Stanford National Black Alumni Association.
Colin Zhu, DO is Board-Certified in family practice and lifestyle medicine. Passionate about the intersection of medicine, food, and nutrition, Dr. Zhu trained as a chef and a health coach at the Natural Gourmet Institute for Health & Culinary Arts and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition following completion of his medical degree. Zaiba Malik M.D. is a board- certified Ophthalmologist, practicing in the Dayton area. In addition to clinical practice, she is a Medical Director at Medpace, a global CRO, providing full service clinical development to biopharmaceutical and medical device companies.
After attending the University of Miami School of Medicine, she completed her internship and ophthalmology residency at Henry Ford Hospital in Michigan. She has experience in private practice and academia.She has been serving as Assistant Clinical Professor in the Surgery Department at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine since 2008. She participates in the global health education advisory, the scholarship in medicine, and the medical school admissions committees. Britton Jewell, DO, MHA is the Medical Director for Extensivist Programs at Desert Oasis Healthcare in Palm Springs, CA. He is double board-certified in internal medicine and health care quality and management. He is the founder of a physician wellness app, “Meaningful Doc,” and is the co-author of “Field Guide to the Business of Medicine: Resource for Health Care Professionals.” Dr. Jewell is passionate about tackling the systemic problem of provider burnout in our health care system.
Zarya Rubin, MD is a Harvard-educated physician and the founder and CEO of Wild Lilac Wellness, a boutique, online Functional Medicine Health Coaching practice. She completed her residency training in Neurology at McGill University and received her health coaching certification at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, studying with Dr. Andrew Weil, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Deepak Chopra and other leading influencers in the world of holistic health. Kari Brown, MD, MSc, is a Senior Medical Director at Aimmune Therapeutics. Dr. Brown trained in Pediatrics at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and as a clinical fellow at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in the Division of Allergy and Immunology. Mario Mendoza, MD, MS is a clinical anesthesiologist (practiced at the NIH), chemist (Abbott), and currently an independent biotech medical affairs consultant and biotech careers coach with over 13 years of combined experience in patient care, drug/device clinical development and medical affairs, R&D work (Abbott, Pfizer, Centrexion Therapeutics), and FDA regulation of medical devices. Heather Awad, MD is a board certified Family Physician, and works as a wound doctor in skilled nursing facilities with Vohra Wound Physicians. She feels free, and like she’s the boss of herself, in this rewarding career. Dr. Awad considers herself a multi-passionate person. Jordan M Schecter, MD is currently the Vice President for Cellular Therapy at Janssen (Pharmaceutical Company of Johnson & Johnson). In this role, he is the global clinical leader for Ciltacabtagene Autoleucel (an experimental CAR-T therapy being developed for Multiple Myeloma). Previous to this role, Dr. Schecter was the co-Clinical lead for Daratumumab (Darzalex ®), a monoclonal antibody first approved in 2015 for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Prior to joining Janssen, Dr. Schecter was an associate professor of medicine at Columbia University Medical Center in New York City where he was involved in clinical research for multiple myeloma and Amyloidosis. He earned his M.D. at Warren Alpert Medical School and completed his internship at Rhode Island Hospital, both at Brown University, and completed his residency and a fellowship in medical hematology and oncology at Columbia University Medical Center.
